Abstract
Four Source Segregation Demonstration programmes were organized on 3, 10 17 and 19 at Santhana Mariyamman kovil Streetward 16, Undiyal Kuda street –ward 15, Gandhi Nagar ward-10, and Thittakudi 14. Around 20 residents got benefitted through this programme.During this Progaramme, field staff and green friends gave awareness to households in each ward on the types of waste, segregation of waste and the importance and benefits of recycling. A live demonstration on Source Segregation was organized for the public.
